I looked at the three entries you have so far with these figures, and I do think they are expressive and poignant. The first ones are in organic, flesh-like colours, and they have a slug-like vulnerable nakedness which I find more interesting, more human. but I also love the second one in yesterday's series, where it looks to me like he's hanging on for dear life as he looks down. the figures remind me a little of 'the scream'. especially in the first one today. Though having a big one followed by a bunch of little ones is cute, I prefer the ones that are a little disturbing, rather than the cute ones, which are more like a craft project.

These remind me of the little "mud people" I used to collect...they were from Spain. I really like the last one!
