There are so many stray dogs in Thailand. It really breaks my heart. Although you really shouldn't touch them, I can't help but pet the ones that aren't too scared to come near me. A lot of them are seriously hurt and get beat up by other dogs--no joke, we hear dog fights and whimpering at least 3 times a day. It's so sad.

Luckily, though, somebody in our neighborhood watches out for them. Every night, this person drives through the streets, dumping bag after bag of fried chicken in the streets for them. They love it (when they aren't busy being territorial over who gets how many pieces).

The first dog is actually somebody's pet. His name is Rambo, "Bo" for short. He's a sweetie.
